Chicago changing payment methods for public transportation

According to Chicago Now, the Chicago Transit Authority will stop issuing their current fare cards. Instead, they're looking to take up a partnership with a credit card company and the cost of producing the payment cards will fall upon the provider. According to the article, New York City's MTA has already done this with Citi Bank, who provided cards in 2007 on the Lexington Line. Read the full article here.
